Les (Lipuwurrunga) Huddleston is from Roper River, but spent many years of his life in Darwin.
Les’ areas of expertise include:
- Exhibiting artist (painting, prints, carving)
- Cultural image design
- workshop facilitator
Les has been practicing as an artist, teacher and cultural adviser for the past 35 years.
His totem is the cat fish; he is nationally and internationally acclaimed as an Indigenous artist,
with his versatility and skills in a number of areas; including his famous ice sculpture works.
